IM PRADA UR NADA

IM PRADA UR NADA is a playlist of techno inspired by Norbert Schoerner’s futuristic imagery for the campaigns of Prada and Miu Miu at the start of the new millennium. We enter the unknown of the future with echoes of Boston 168, rave into darkness with Gesaffelstein, and find solace in the night with 747. Schoerner’s work during this time period is a constant reference for me – a realization of a future through virtual reality before the likes of Oculus and Magic Leap materialized. These images envisioned a digital life at the brink of the internet age, still living beyond the future we have yet to encounter tomorrow.
